Class Description:
Thinking about removing your lawn? Join us for a class on turf replacement where you'll learn how to transform your yard into a beautiful, sustainable, and water-efficient landscape. This session covers everything from soil preparation and microclimates to site planning and irrigation strategies that support long-term conservation.
We will guide you through:
- Selecting climate-appropriate plant palettes
- Considering turf removal options and rebates
- Planning a new landscape that thrives with less water
- Exploring sustainable landscape techniques and functions

Please park in the employee parking lot structure on Wardlow or in front of the building. If you park in the employee parking lot that you may only access by driving in the gates (this gate will be automatically open for you all morning) please ensure you walk towards the front of the building where there will be a security guard ready to help you and provide you with a name tag. Please do not try to access the class assembly room through the parking lot.
